ENCIRQ Names Steve Weick New Vice President of Engineering

BURLINGAME, CA – January 16, 2006 - ENCIRQ Corporation, the leading provider of data-centric development solutions for intelligent devices, today announced the appointment of Steve Weick as Vice President of Engineering and Product Development. Weick will provide leadership for ENCIRQ’s engineering efforts and for driving the delivery of the Company’s innovative solutions for intelligent devices.

Prior to joining ENCIRQ, he served as Vice President of Engineering for Agentis Software, where his team architected, designed and developed a visionary agent-based platform for building adaptive services. Previously, Weick held senior management roles at IBM, Tandem, MapInfo and Informix.
