ENCIRQ Releases New Version of Its Flagship Data-Centric Software Framework
Version 2.2 further enhances device software performance and development productivity
SAN JOSE, CA – Embedded Systems Conference – April 3, 2006 - ENCIRQ Corporation, the leading provider of data-centric software for intelligent devices, today announced the release of Version 2.2 of its flagship product, the ENCIRQ® Data Foundation™ Framework, at this year’s annual Embedded Systems Conference Silicon Valley. With the release of Version 2.2, the industry’s leading data-centric framework adds even more capabilities to further improve device performance, increase team productivity and accelerate the delivery of award-winning applications.
“Today’s intelligent devices must process ever-growing volumes of complex data, leading to fundamental changes in the nature of device software,” said Mark Vogel, CEO of ENCIRQ. “The industry is trying to accelerate the delivery of compelling applications that can run across multiple devices. Adopting data-centric approaches that optimize device performance is essential to executing a winning product strategy.”
The ENCIRQ Framework accelerates the delivery of data-driven applications and services while reducing the complexity, time and cost of building performance-optimized software. New enhancements in version 2.2 include:
- User-extensible indexing gives designers the flexibility to implement customized indexing strategies to achieve the best possible search performance for a given application.
- Enhanced build modularity shortens development cycles by making it easier to create and reuse data management components and libraries that can be leveraged across multiple projects.
- Run-time performance enhancements further improve on the industry’s fastest transactions times by more than 45%, making it even easier to create high performance applications.
“The enhancements in version 2.2 were developed in direct response to customer requests to help tame software complexity, improve performance, and accelerate time-to-market,” added Vogel.
ENCIRQ will demonstrate the Framework at booth #1902, showcasing examples of advanced, data-driven software applications.
Availability
Version 2.2 of the Data Foundation Framework will be released in April. Version 2.2 is available as a no charge update to ENCIRQ customers with current maintenance agreements.
