ENCIRQ CTO to Present at Embedded Systems Show 2005
Eugene Buechele will reveal how data-centric software design
techniques streamline application development for next-generation
telematics systems
BURLINGAME, CA – October 18, 2005 - ENCIRQ Corporation, a
pioneer in developing high-performance data management solutions optimized
for embedded systems, announced today that Eugene Buechele, CTO and
VP of customer engineering for ENCIRQ, will speak at the Embedded Systems
Show 2005 (ESS), held October 19-20, at the National Exhibition Centre
(NEC) in Birmingham, UK.
A recognized expert in data-centric software development, Mr. Buechele will host a 60-minute session entitled, “Developing the Next Generation of Data-Centric Telematics Systems,” on Wednesday, October 19, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The session will describe how today’s telematics systems have become complex, data-rich information systems that present distinct challenges that can be resolved more easily and efficiently with data-centric software development approaches. Attendees will learn about:
- The challenges of managing the escalating volumes of data from both inside and outside the vehicle with limited hardware resources
- How current procedural software design approaches contribute to increased data and application integration complexity
- How adopting a more data-centric approach to software development can streamline application development while improving system performance and reliability
Mr. Buechele works directly with engineers worldwide to help them leverage advanced data-centric methods and technologies to accelerate device software development and innovation. He was recently recognized as one of the Top 25 Most Influential CTO’s by InfoWorld Magazine. Prior to joining ENCIRQ, he has held senior executive positions overseeing the development of Embedded Systems at HP, Verifone, 3Com, Communications Solutions, Inc., and Intel. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy/Mathematics from Wright State University.
According to market research firm, Venture Development Corporation (VDC), “for automotive, approximately 52 percent of all projects starts are finished behind schedule as a result of changes to/inadequate specifications and increasing complexity of the application developed.”
The ENCIRQ® Data Foundation™ Framework provides development teams with a simpler and more efficient approach for building robust device applications. It is designed from the ground up to reduce the complexity, cost and time to develop embedded applications while enabling unique and innovative data-driven software capabilities and services.
The ENCIRQ Data Foundation Framework radically simplifies the creation of applications and data management components. By reducing complexity, automating generation of data management source code, and providing an ultra-efficient runtime environment, the ENCIRQ Framework helps engineering teams to:
- Cut development time and costs by up to 80%
- Optimize performance and system resource utilization
- Improve application quality, flexibility and portability
- Increase engineering capacity for product innovation and differentiation
